Actress Olivia Wilde is in the news today after fellow hottie actress Megan Fox said that Wilde was a woman that she could see herself having a relationship with.

So if you are unfamiliar with Olivia then here is a quick rundown of her limited career:

Well, her real name is Olivia Cockburn and she was born in New York City to 60 Minutes producer Leslie Cockburn and Irish journalist Andrew Cockburn.

In fact Wilde has dual citizenship between the United States and Ireland and admits that as a result of her parents’ careers, she has a “strong journalistic streak”, being “really critical and analytical”.

But acting is her one true love, and a profession she took to in the early 2000s.

She has appeared in a number of film and television parts, including her roles on the series The O.C., The Black Donnellys, and, more recently and most famously, medical drama House.

Her film credits include The Girl Next Door, Alpha Dog, Conversations with Other Women and Turistas.

I remember seeing her as the new eye candy on House last spring. She was a very welcome addition to this viewer and hopefully she start popping up in more places on TV and the big screen.
