PHOTOS: Drew Peterson’s Wife Stacy Peterson Body Possibly Found
The body of Drew Peterson’s fourth wife Stacy Peterson may have been found after the ex-police officer, who is currently in jail awaiting trial for the murder of his third wife, allegedly confessed that he had killed and buried the fourth (photos below).
According to TMZ, Drew reportedly told an inmate that he had an accomplice who helped him dispose of Stacy’s body. The inmate told the authorities, the alleged accomplice was identified and confessed the body was stuffed in a metal drum and buried on private hunting grounds just outside Peoria, Illinois.
The owner allowed the authorities and accomplice to enter the property. The accomplice showed them the exact location where the body was allegedly buried and police dogs have confirmed it. The search for the body has begun today, but at the end of the day they reportedly did not find the remains of Drew’s fourth wife.
“Ever since Stacy disappeared, there have been numerous rumors about finding her body and about Drew. The one thing all of them have had in common is they always proved to be false,” Peterson defense attorney Steven Greenberg said Saturday (June 5).
“There’s no real facts or evidence to back them up. In fact, there’s never been a single piece of hard evidence in either Stacy’s disappearance or Kathleen’s death, that shows Drew is guilty of anything,” Greenberg maintained.
Stacy has been missing since October 26, 2007. Her husband is considered the main suspect, but Drew continues denying any involvement in her disappearance. Drew’s third wife, Kathleen Savio, drowned back in 2004 and her death was considered an accident until Stacy disappeared and a new autopsy revealed that Kathleen had been murdered.

Ok Has anyone considered that this man is playing everyone, This man is a former cop. He supposedly confesses to a snitch in jail? I am sorry but Peterson is not a fool, he is however playing with the prosecutors and they are allowing themselves to be played with. They are so desperate to do anything that they will believe anything in order to win a conviction. I am not saying that the man is innocent, but it appears that neither the police nor the prosecution in this instance has given much thought to common sense.
Drew Peterson will rot in jail… I hope his children will never find out what a monster he really is for they don’t deserve the pain. Maybe some soul in prison will remember he was a cop and will take care of all our problems. No more Drew!!!!!!!!!
TMZ reported that another inmate tipped police to Peterson’s comments regarding where he hid the body. TMZ reported that search dogs went ‘straight to the site’ of the tip. TMZ also reported that a probe inserted into the ground hit a ‘solid object’ which could be the barrel Stacy was supposedly buried in.
So what happened? Nothing happened because the entire ‘tip’ – in all its detail – was HEARSAY. Hearsay isn’t reliable – not for media, and not for convicting someone of a capital crime.
