New York Yankees player Derek Jeter and Friday Night Lights actress Minka Kelly, who ended their three year romance in August, are rekindling their relationship by spending the holidays together in Paris.

The two were spotted Dec. 29 at the Musée d’Orsay hotel. ”They had a guide taking them around on the fifth floor, and they were looking at Monet and the works of other French impressionists,” Pepperdine University student Jaime Olaez, who saw the couple at the art museum, told reporters. “They went to all the different floors; they looked at Van Gogh. Derek was very low-key and was wearing a black-and-gray sweater. Minka looked very pretty. She was wearing white jeans, a brown jacket and boots.”

“The funniest part was seeing tourists walk by wearing New York Yankees hats on,” Olaez said. ”And some people didn’t even notice them!”

Well, maybe 2012 is their year. They sure would make some stunning babies.

Friday Night Lights star Minka Kelly and Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter have ended their relationship after three years together, according to actress’ rep.

Kelly, who will star in ABC‘s remake of the hit 70′s show Charlie’s Angels, joked about dating a sports player in a GQ interview in January. ”I promise you, I’m not getting married in the next month,” she told the magazine.

The two have always had a very private relationship. In the past, Kelly has been linked to John Mayer, with Jeter having past relationships with Mariah Carey, Vanessa Minnillo, and Jessica Biel.

New York Yankees short-stop Derek Jeter became the 28th man in Major League Baseball history to record 3,000 career hits when he homered in the third inning of Saturday’s game against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Jeter went on to go 5-5 in the game, got the game winning hit, finishing the day with 3,003 hits for his career.

Though Kelly’s publicist put the kibosh on our query about a male suitor at the Empire (the rep told Page Six Kelly’s dad was the only guy with her in the hotel), OK! magazine reports the “Friday Night Lights” actress was wined and dined at Kobe Club by Jeter on Monday. “She’s still playing the field,” one source told us.

Chalk another one up for the captain of the Yankees.  The women he has dated make up a celebrity hall of fame that includes Mariah Carey, Adriana Lima, Vanessa Minnillo, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel and Vida Guerra.

Minka has previously been tied to Chris Evans, Donald Faison, John Mayer (naturally) and Topher Grace.

Derek Jeter was spotted at Hollywood hot spot Hyde this week with actress Jessica Biel. 

Jeter is no stranger to hotties, having dated Mariah Carey, Scarlett Johannson and Vanessa Minnillo to name a few.
