Fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier was intending to honor the late Amy Winehouse by designing his collection around her iconic style, but instead received poor reviews from her family and critics, too.

“The family was upset to see those pictures,” Mitch Winehouse told reporters of seeing the photos of the show.“We’re still grieving for her loss, and we’ve had a difficult week with the six-month anniversary of Amy’s death.

“It portrays a view of Amy when she was not at her best, and glamorizes some of the more upsetting times in her life,” he said.

Yet, after the show on Wednesday, Gaultier stood by his decision to send the look-a-likes down the runway. “She was an icon of fashion and truly, the sense of how she mixed the clothes — it was great. It is very joyous.”

I don’t see anything wrong with the look-a-likes, but I can see where it would upset the family.

“We saw this as a great opportunity to partner with two of the hottest stars on television,” Bongo’s rep Dari Marder said in a statement. “While Lucy and Ashley appear together in the national ad campaign, each girl represents a different retail partner. Lucy will appear in Sears marketing collateral nationwide, while Ashley will be seen in Kmart.”

“I love this campaign because it really shows the versatility of the Bongo [brand]: sweet versus edgy,” Lucy said in a statement.

Bongo’s print ads are set to debut in March, while the Pretty Little stars are set to host several events for the brand throughout the year. Other celebs to represent the Bongo brand in the past include names like Audrina Patridge, Rachel Bilson, Nicole Richie and Kim Kardashian.

In my opinion, Kate wins this fashion face-off simply because she could wear a shower curtain and still pull it off.

Kate is soo gorgeous. Both Claire and Kate took home Golden Globes for Best Actress in TV Drama (“Homeland”) and Best Actress in Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for TV (“Mildred Pierce”), respectively.

On the other hand, 34 year-old “Ringer” star completely shocked us by wearing a huge white and blue ink print strapless ball gown by Monique Lhuillier. The perfect hair, makeup and gorgeous smile were simply not enough to distract us from that ridiculously hideous dress.

Bravo reality star Brad Goreski, who is most well known for being stylist Rachel Zoe‘s former assistant, has been named Kate Spade New York’s exclusive brand stylist.

Goreski will work to “elevate brand awareness surrounding the company’s ready-to-wear category” and work with creative director Deborah Lloyd to “style press events, fashion presentations, ad campaigns and e-commerce shoots.”

“The brand is known for its accessories, and their ready-to-wear is fairly new and [it's] Deb’s baby,” Goreski told reporters.“We see so many people carrying the bags and the accessories. Goreski’s new show It’s a Brad, Brad World premieres Monday night, and he plans to use his show to promote his new position, as well as using social media. “I’m a huge Tweeter,” he said. “I use it as my way to really interact with people, and part of my job will be collaborating [with Kate Spade] in all areas of social media to get people involved and more excited about the brand.”

They are the perfect match.

Actresses Sofia Vergara and Eliza Dushku walked the red carpet of the 2011 CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (December 11)- more pictures below.

The “Modern Family” star opted to wear a figure-hugging black lace cocktail dress by Dolce&Gabbana that accentuated her incredible curves. The black dress was a pretty safe choice, but Sofia spiced it up with a pair of leopard print heels.

On the other hand, Eliza failed to impress in an unflattering and season inappropriate floor-length printed maxi-dress. The girl’s got an incredible body, but it was completely lost in that wild shapeless dress.
