Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen apparently violated some sort of code of brotherhood when she basically dissed her husband Tom Brady’s teammates, more especifically the receivers, as she was trying to defend his honor after a tough Super Bowl defeat for the New England Patriots on Sunday (February 5).

Albeit Gisele was provoked, she should have been less vocal about it because Tom will eventually have to return to work and face the guys she was just very angry at for allegedly dropping her husband’s balls [must watch video HERE].

Tom’s teammates felt betrayed by his wife’s behavior since they believe in the motto “win as a team, lose as a team.” A source said, “It’s like knocking someone when they are down.” And that is not fair. So where’s Gisele’s fairplay?

The heat and defeat of battle can bring out the best and worst of professional athletes…and their family members or spouses.

That seems to be the case when a camera unfortunately filmed Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen defending her husband Tom Brady after a overzealous New York Giants fan yelled at her about Eli Manning being better than Tom and the New England Patriots after the Giants beat the Patriots in Super Bowl 46.

But what she said (see video above) will make her even more hated and despised outside of New England:

“You (have) to catch the ball when you’re supposed to catch the ball. My husband cannot (bleeping) throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.”

Poor New England receivers. I’m sure Tom is going to love having to do damage control with his teammates after his wive’s comments.

Hopefully, everyone will quickly remember this was shortly after a bitterly close fought game. Emotions sometimes get the best of us.

I’ve never been the biggest Gisele fan but the time I met her she was extremely nice to my wife who was pregnant at the time. We were in the security line at LAX and she talked to us and asked my wife several questions about her pregnancy, etc. This was several years ago in her pre-Tom days.

She shouldn’t have said what she said, especially in light of the leaked email she sent her friends before the Super Bowl asking for them to pray for Tommy’s success in the Super Bowl.

The photos were reportedly taken by Michael himself while posing in front of the bathroom mirror before a game. Michael’s rep did not completely deny the existence of such photographs, but chose to completely ignore this woman’s claims instead.

“The only thing Mike has on his mind is his date with the Chicago Bears this evening,” his rep Rick French tells RadarOnline. “The rest of what this woman is claiming isn’t worth dignifying.”

TMZ, Sportscasm, and others are reporting that NFL player Terrell Owens attempted to kill himself on October 6th.

His personal assistant called 911 for help after Owens swallowed numerous pills.

The assistant went on to tell the 911 dispatcher that she believed it was in fact a suicide attempt.

If so, it’s not the first time Owens has attempted to kill himself.  Back in 2006, Owens took nearly three dozen Vicodin before 911 was called.

Our thoughts go out to T.O. and hope he gets the help he needs.

Owens is currently unemployed in the NFL.

Beauty queen Brooke Daniels has allegedly finally returned the $76,000 engagement ring she received from her former boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys star Roy Williams, after royally dumping him over a lame mailed marriage proposal.

Roy had been dating the 2009 Miss Texas USA for almost a year, when he decided to take the next step and propose. On Valentine’s Day, the NFL player had the audacity to mail an engagement ring and a recorded marriage proposal to Brooke, who did not only say “NO” but also broke up with him immediately.

I would be offended if a guy ever mailed me a proposal. It’s not romantic at all. If the girl is not worthy of your presence during the proposal, what’s the point!?! Brooke seemed to have forgotten to return the ring, which was in her father Michael Daniels’ possession, and Roy was forced to sue her.

“He [Roy] said to [Brooke], ‘I’m not like a lot of people, I don’t want the ring back. You’ll eventually come back to me,’ and she didn’t,” Michael Daniels told the Odessa American.

Daniels added: “I want to wash my hands of it. It’s just a hassle. I’ll take care of my daughter. I don’t need him.”

Brooke is no gold digger – as soon as she realized the mistake she returned the ring. The engagement ring was delivered to Roy’s attorney. Roy can now mail the ring to some other chick.

Ex-NY Giants receiver, David Tyree made headlines earlier this week when he pontificated during an interview with the National Organization for Marriage (an anti-gay marriage group) that leagalizing gay marriage in the U.S., “…will be the beginning of our country sliding toward … it’s a strong word, but anarchy.”

Legalizing gay marriage is going to move our country towards a state of lawlessness and chaos?  Have you ever met a gay man, Tyree?  They are the most organized and structured people we’ve got!

Tyree went on to add,

How can marriage be marriage for thousands of years and now all the sudden because a minority, an influential minority, has a push or agenda … and totally reshapes something that was not founded in our country.

Right, it’s just like how women aren’t allowed to vote or how African Americans can’t run for president…

In response to Tyree’s claims the Human Rights Campaign released this statement:

Anarchy? Hardly. Committed gay and lesbian couples have been able to legally marry in five states and the District of Columbia — not to mention a number of foreign countries — for years now and cows are still giving milk, little boys are still pulling little girls’ pig tails, and we still drive on the right side of the street.

Tyree certainly doesn’t have to support gay marriage, that’s his choice – just like it was his choice to hang on to that ball in Super Bowl XLII, that cost the New England Patriots the game. No, I’m not bitter…

Miami Dolphins wide receiver, Brandon Marshall, was stabbed by his wife, Michi Nogami-Marshall, with a kitchen knife and rushed to the hospital where he underwent emergency surgery for a stab wound to the stomach on Friday (April 22), according to Sportscasm.

More Details @Sportscasm. The 27 year-old NFL star is currently in the ICU at Broward General Hospital, but is expected to make a full recovery in 2 to 3 weeks since no vital organs were hit.

Marshall’s agent said in a statement, “This is a very difficult time for Brandon and family, thankfully he will make a full recovery … We simply ask that his privacy is respected.”

When asked about the incident, Brandon reportedly told cops that he had “slipped and fell onto a broken glass vase”, except there was no blood near the broken vase in question. Furthermore, Brandon had a clean cut, the type of cut done by a sharp object not broken glass. Michi told cops she stabbed him in self-defense.

Brandon’s wife Michi (mugshot below) was arrested for domestic violence and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Michi, who married Brandon last year, is being held on $75,000 bond.

Jenn Sterger‘s Good Morning America interview will air on Tuesday (April 12) and Wednesday (April 13).

Ironically, rapper Rick Ross and Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Peters were both arrested in separate incidents in Shreveport, Louisiana on Friday night (March 25)- see mug shots above.

Cops were called to the rapper’s hotel because there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from his hotel room. Rick was arrested after they discovered approximately a gram of pot in plain view.

As for the NFL star, he was arrested for a loud music violation and resisting an officer after being asked to turn down the music in his car and show his ID several times. Jason refused to obey the police officer. Stupid decision.

So what is the connection between these two men? The rapper was set to perform at a nightclub and the NFL star was one of his celebrity guests.
