The poster for The Paperboy starring Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron and directed by Precious’ Lee Daniels has hit the internet.

Along with Kidman and Efron, the poster features actor John Cusack and newly engaged Matthew McConaughey.

“The Paperboy focuses on a reporter (McConaughey) and his brother (Efron) who investigate the events surrounding a murder in order to free a man on death row, portrayed by Cusack. Kidman plays woman with a dark side who writes letters to men in prison, and brings the case of Cusack’s inmate to the attention of the brothers.”

Modern Family‘s Sofia Vergara was originally slated to play Kidman’s role but had to drop out due to scheduling issues.

The film is set to hit theatres in 2012.

Country star Keith Urban and his wife Nicole Kidman have a newborn daughter named Faith Margaret, their second child, who was born via a surrogate. The proud daddy was happy to show off the first picture of their little miracle on the red carpet of the SAG Awards over the weekend.

The 43 year-old happily displayed the iPhone picture of the bundle of joy in the arms of momma Nicole (picture below). Keith asked, “She looks just like [Nicole], don’t you think?” Both Nicole and Keith, who also have a 2 year-old daughter named Sunday Rose, were happy to answer all the questions about the new baby.

Nicole confessed to be thrilled and explained why they chose the name Faith for the baby. “We needed to have that through the whole pregnancy. That’s what it required — a lot of faith,” she said.

Faith Margaret is absolutely cute. And just like big sister Sunday, Faith’s second name is the name of a flower. That was a beautiful choice by the parents! There is just one thing… I seriously cannot understand why “Sunday”? Awful name.

Surprise — it’s a girl for Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman! The couple welcomed Faith Margaret Kidman Urban on December 28th. Urban and Kidman released a statement Monday, Jan. 17, announcing the birth of their nearly one-month-old daughter.

“Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret,”

…the statement said. Faith Margaret was delivered at Nashville’s Centennial Women’s Hospital via a surrogate, though she is biologically an Urban-Kidman mix.

The statement continued:

“No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier.”

The country music star and A-list actress were very tight-lipped about the birth of their bundle of joy, who joins 2-year-old sister Sunday Rose, but we’re all glad she’s here!

Aaron Eckhart and Nicole Kidman are the center of plenty of Oscar buzz surrounding their dramatic new film Rabbit Hole, but Eckhart has revealed that it wasn’t all bunny rabbits (pardon the pun) and rainbows on the set of the movie.

He revealed that emotions ran high on set during the filming for a pivotal scene:

“She was irritated with me and I was irritated with her but that’s the way movie-making is. For one day, are we not allowed? For half a day even? It’s so surprising to me when people are surprised that movie making is sometimes tense and uncomfortable because inherently it’s going to be.”

“You’re around tens of people or hundreds of people working on things that are imaginary and that come from the soul. You could be dealing with subject matter like prostitution, death, drugs, blah, blah, blah. How could you expect that not to be uncomfortable?”

But don’t worry. Eckhart went on to confirm that the two are still good friends.

I can see where things could get tense on set just from watching the trailer. If you haven’t seen it, you must.

Nicole Kidman is returning to the Great White Way to star in Tennessee William‘s Sweet Bird of Youth. The 43-year-old will play “an aging, drunken and sexually voracious movie star.” Shouldn’t be too hard. Right, Nicole?

This will be the Academy Award-winning actresses’ first time back on the Broadway stage since 1998, when she starred in David Hare‘s racy drama The Blue Room; Kidman, struggling to step out of the shadow of her then husband, Tom Cruise, made a name for herself with the brief nudity required of her character onstage.

The show is set to begin in the fall of 2011.

Sweet Bird of Youth was last seen on Broadway in in 1975, featuring Christopher Walken. Paul Newman originated a role in the 1959 version and also starred in the movie.

WOW, Nicole, the super hot sexy vixen, came out of the closet in this interview, revealing some intimate details of her life and marriage to actor Tom Cruise and country star Keith Urban.

The 42 year-old confessed to have experienced different types of love emotionally and physically. “I’ve explored obsession. I’ve explored loss and love in terms of being in a grief-stricken place, I’ve explored strange sexual fetish stuff, I’ve explored the mundane aspect of marriage, and monogamy,” Nicole said. GASP!

On her marriage to Keith, the actress says it is a work in progress. “You work on it. It’s a very extraordinary, adventurous place to be: incredibly raw, incredibly dangerous and you’re very much out at sea. You’re exposed. You could drown. When you commit to someone like that, you live and die together by that decision.” A bit dramatic, isn’t she?

Nicole finally admitted that her marriage to Tom Cruise opened doors for her: “I became famous very young. I became very famous because I was the wife of somebody. I did a lot of good, worthwhile work in Australia between the ages of 14 and 19 and then I married someone famous. And really, despite the huge profile that brought to me, I was still finding my feet.

“I know my agents at the time were like ‘Do not get married! It will ruin your career!’ and I was like ‘But I’m in love’. All I know is that I wasn’t someone interested in fame. And that’s not why I got married. I wanted to work with people who intrigued me,” Nicole added.

Nicole also confessed to have burn all her private diaries she kept during her years with Tom after she remarried because there are some things she would not want to become public and she prefers to honor that marriage for what it is. Nicole and Tom have two adopted children, Connor Anthony and Isabella Jane, and Nicole also has a 1 year-old daughter Sunday Rose with her husband Keith.

Nicole Kidman’s younger sister Antonia Kidman, a journalist and TV presenter in Australia, attended the 7th Annual ASTRA Awards at the Entertainment Quarter in Sydney, Australia yesterday (April 20). The 38 year-old mother-of-four doesn’t like to be in the spotlight and was only actually seen out shopping with her famous sister a couple of times.
