Reality TV Renascence man, Ryan Seacrest, is spearheading a new reality show pilot based on the Persian population of Southern California.  I guess his show about a blended Armenian family living in Hollywood wasn’t “ethnic” enough for him.

The show, Shahs of Sunset, will feature the daily lives of the wealthy Iranian population of Los Angeles.  According to the LA Times:

Armed with chromed-out cars, logo-ridden purses and designer outfits, they’ve got it and they’re not afraid to flaunt it,” Bravo said in a statement, while adding that the group also “knows the value of family and tradition.

In between hosting his radio show, producing everything with the name Kardashian on it, running American Idol and dating Dancing with the Stars cutie, Julianne Hough, (When do you sleep, Seacrest?) Ryan was able to release this statement about his new project.

The series will offer rich characters and relatable storylines about everyday life — love, work, friendship and family — steeped in a diverse culture, which is wildly entertaining and fun.

Okay, so basically what we have here is some third generation Persian immigrants spending their parents hard-earned money and acting entitled.  Sounds like Shahs of Sunset just might give Jersey Shore a run for its money!

Hugh Hefner’s ex-fiancée, Crystal Harris, went on KIIS FM with Ryan Seacrest this morning to discuss her broken engagement with the king of the Playboy Bunnies.

Crystal said that she was ready to move on with her life and that living at the Playboy Mansion,

Isn’t the lifestyle for me. Multiple girls around all the time. The Playboy lifestyle. I just wanted to be true to myself.

Harris also told Seacrest that Hef was only interested in marrying her because he believe that it was what she wanted – not because he truly wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.  According to Crystal, her hubby-to-be was actually relieved that the wedding was canceled.

Is this guy really worried about having to share a bed with only one woman for the “rest of his life”?  Hey Hef – YOU’RE 86 YEARS OLD!  Consider yourself lucky that anyone wants to crawl into that bed at all!

Despite the many, many rumors, Ryan Seacrest says he and Julianne Hough are not engaged.

He said on Good Morning America Thursday:

“I’m not engaged,”

But just because the wedding bells aren’t ringing yet doesn’t mean Seacrest and Hough aren’t completely happy.

“I’m very happy.”

Julianne recently gushed on her man’s romantic tendencies, so when the time comes, I’m sure it’ll be larger than life and big news.

Ryan will host ABC’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest tomorrow night. And I have a feeling that soon after the ball drops into 2011 Ryan will drop the ball and propose.

Julianne Hough says that things are going really well with her American Idol host boyfriend Ryan Seacrest.

They’ve even met each other’s parents! But Julianne says it’s Ryan’s romantic side that keeps her coming back for more.

“He’s really romantic,”

“He’s not even in town and I got in my car and there are flowers everywhere.”

She described him as ‘phenomenal,’ and gushed to Ellen on Tuesday that he’s always full of surprises:

“For my birthday, same thing – flowers everywhere,”

“I was almost embarrassed. You walk in [the hotel room] and you’re like, ‘Is this my room? I don’t even know.’ I’m kind of embarrassed.”

Despite the smooth ride, Julianne says meeting each other’s parents isn’t as big of a step as it sounds:

“Everyone’s like, ‘Oh, you met the folks,’ ”

“It’s like, I don’t know. Both of our folks are like our best friends, so when we hang out, it’s more like hanging out with friends.”

Glad things are going well for them! Ryan needed a pretty lady in his life to pound down the rumors surrounding his sexual orientation.

The new panel of American Idol judges, consisting of Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler, was officially announced only a week ago and one of them is already in a feud with the host Ryan Seacrest.

Who? JLo, who else? Jennifer apparently thinks she is the bigger star (and she actually is!) and is basically in a war with Ryan for power. They have been fighting about everything from pay checks to dressing rooms.

“Ryan was the one who first suggested Jennifer, but now he’s starting to regret it, because she’s acting like she’s a much bigger star than he is,” the insider says. “Ryan knows the diva behavior is likely to get worse before it gets better. Producers are trying to get them to make peace, but their egos are both pretty big.”

After Simon left, Ryan basically thought he would be the one calling all the shots in the Idol house. Well, he was wrong! And of course he didn’t know JLo would be such a diva… like himself! This will be the best celebrity feud ever.

Meanwhile, Idol’s new executive producer Nigel Lythgoe, who is best known as a judge in “So You Think You Can Dance”, proudly showed off the first picture of his new judges behind their judges’ stand on Twitter.

Ha! Ha! Gotcha! Dancing With The Stars hottie Julianne Hough has been dating American Idol host Ryan Seacrest for a couple of months and she is already joking about having babies. Oh boy! Isn’t Ryan Seacrest gay?

When asked about her new relationship with Ryan in an interview for Valentine In The Morning on MYfm radio, Julianne revealed, “Didn’t you know? We’re having a baby!”, before quickly adding, “Oh God, I can’t even say that. That’s going to be everywhere.”

Ah! Unfortunately, she was joking and Ryan can breathe a sigh of relief because he won’t become a daddy… at least not in the next nine months! Julianne, who is going to star in the “Footloose” remake, claims Ryan “can groove” so he would be a perfect contestant in DWTS.

During an interview on Thursday, Kim Kardashian told Ryan Seacrest she’s single.

“I’m single and having a good time. I am living my life and there’s nothing I want to tell you.”

“I’m meeting some really amazing people and just trying to live my life, and I am definitely a lot more private than I was before.”

Kim was spotted earlier in the week relaxing in Cabo, Mexico with pro football player Miles Austin. But when Seacrest asked “breaking news about a Dallas Cowboy”, Kim played it off saying:

“Dallas Cowboy? I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

“I don’t think he should give his award back, I think he earned it and he deserved it. I do feel bad for him, I’m sure that he’s going though a really hard time. And knowing the type of person he is, I’m sure he would do everything in his power to make it up to the school, I know he does love USC. And he’ll want to make it up the kids who are there now who aren’t eligible to make it to championships.”
