A former production coordinator for MTV’s hit reality show The Hills has filed a lawsuit against the network.

Eliza Sproul reports a “dangerous” trip to Costa Rica with the cast that was full of drug use and sexual harassment in the lawsuit.

Sproul claims that when the network planned to take the crew to Costa Rica, MTV failed to secure a work visa for all involved. Instead, the crew got tourist visas and had to rely on local help, such as a guy by the name of Andres, who is said to have made sexual advances and even pressured Sproul to go into the forrest and smoke marijuana with him.

The work conditions were less than desirable. Sproul worked long hours with no rest or meal breaks, and when she did get to sleep, she had to in the office. Salomon, another employee, reportedly showed off body parts in a “distressing” manner, with more sexual activity and drugs present, according to Sproul.

After enduring the conditions, Sproul says she ”essentially broke down” and had to consult a local physician.

MTV has yet to comment. Go figure.

Former “The Hills” star Lo Bosworth, who recently shared her desire to get married soon, and her boyfriend Scott Hochstadt have called it quits after dating for approximately two years. Scott had been looking for the perfect engagement ring right before being dumped by the reality star.

“They realized they are in different places in their lives,” a source close to the couple says. “The timing was just off. The breakup is hard for both of them, but it’s the most realistic thing at this point.”

“Scott was in talks with the jewelry brand Yasmin & Jazmin for the past two months,” a source says. “He wanted to marry Lo, and he wanted to propose with something special and personalized.”

Lo and Scott claim they will continue to be good friends, but she wants to be able to focus on her career. Lo has been proudly working on advice blog titled “The Lo Down”. A friend of Lo claims Scott was taking advantage of her for his own selfish reasons.

“I’m not sure if Scott was in the right relationship for the right reasons,” a friend of Lo’s tells Life & Style. “It didn’t hurt that Lo was famous and had famous friends. I don’t know if Scott loved Lo so much as he loved the fame. Things had been bad for a while now.”

Looks like Lauren Conrad is making her big return to television, and with buzz surrounding her comeback, networks are said to be fighting over the reality princess.

Lauren, 24, started out as a regular high school student, but soon found fame with MTV‘s hit reality show Laguna Beach. Her time on Laguna was then followed by a show primarily based on her life in Los Angeles titled The Hills. She left The Hills in 2009 and has since designed her own fashion line and become a bestselling author.

Lauren said her new show would be far from the style of her previous, drama-filled shows:

“The only way I’d return to reality TV would be if it allowed me to decide when the cameras stop.”

Everybody loves LC! But I don’t know if I want to watch a reality show without any back-stabbing, cheating, lying, etc… After all, what’s reality television really about?

Audrina Patridge, star of MTV‘s hit reality show The Hills, revealed to Britain’s Daily Mirror that the girls were never allowed to repeat an outfit on camera. Can you imagine? She said:

I guess I should expect that from The Hills. Not to mention, those girls didn’t have anything better to do. Drama, shop, drama, shop, drama, drama, shop, shop, shop… When asked what’s next for the reality star, she replied:

“I’d love to do a period drama, like The Tudors. I’m auditioning lots right now, I don’t get anything handed to me. It’s hard, but you have to keep trying.”

Spencer Pratt’s little sister, Stephanie Pratt and her Motocross boyfriend Josh Hansen are apparently going through a very nasty break up. The two have been cleaning their dirty laundry in public on Twitter.

Stephanie’s rep confirmed the break up and Josh felt the need to defend himself, tweeting, “Another disfunctional move by Stephanie pratt, I was under the impression u had to be someones bf in order to get dumped.”

Josh and Stephanie were introduced by her co-star Brody Jenner and the two hit it off. They had been together ever since. According to racer’s rep, it never happened because they were never an official item and Josh is already moving on. That what every guy would say, if he has been royally dumped.

Bunney, who previously appeared on The Hills, took to her blog last week to report that Montag had backed out:

“Originally I was supposed to do a reality show with Heidi, but right now it looks like some things have changed and I don’t know if Heidi wants to be involved in reality TV at the moment with everything going on in her personal life. So, since that recent development our original network and some others as well have offered to continue on with the show despite Heidi possibly not being involved, which I just recently agreed to. Although, I of course wanted to pursue this project with her I also respect that she has a lot to deal with right now and have decided to go ahead and move forward with it alone, since these opportunities have presented themselves (my hope is that she will want to be involved later on).”

While attending the premiere of Salt, The Hills star, Kristin Cavallari, shared these hopes:

“I am starting to work with an acting coach again and I would love to work with Charlize Theron, Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz, and Sean Penn.”

The 23 year-old reality star has already agreed to move in with her boyfriend after dating for less than a year because she thinks he is THE one. Oh boy! “I’m just excited! He’s the guy so I can’t really be happier than that,” she said.

When asked about a possible engagement, Lo said, “we are sort of heading in that direction…[but] not in the next six months.” However, Lo admitted, “I would like to be a young bride.” Meanwhile, Lo will be busy writing a new book entitled “The Lo-Down”, which will go on sale in January 11.

“The Hills” has finally come to an end after six seasons on Tuesday (July 14). If you haven’t figured it out yet, the “reality” show was completely scripted, totally fake, according to what Brody Jenner, who is currently dating rocker Avril Lavigne, said.

Broody and his former girlfriend/friend/“sister” Kristin Cavallari were the special guests of the special Hills finale party and they talked a bit about the show (watch video below). Brody also talked about the alternative finale, which included the return of Lauren Conrad. And Speidi? No one really talked about those two. Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are like “persona non grata” at The Hills.

“We filmed a couple different endings and we didn’t know which one they were gonna use. There were some other ones that were great as well,” Brody teased about the LC ending. “One of the other endings, Lauren was in it. She had come back into the show for the last episode. I come back home, and basically Lauren’s at my place [and I tell her about saying goodbye to a friend]. We filmed this whole lovey-dovey scene as if me and Lauren had been together this entire time. So it was another fun, cool ending. … I think they thought it would confuse the viewers.”

“That day of filming it was surreal to me because they wouldn’t tell me what we were filming,” he continued. “I think the show has always battled with what’s real and what’s fake, and this ending was perfect because you still don’t know what was real, what was fake and it’s kind of like L.A. in a sense. I thought it was very clever and I was happy with it. I was stoked they were ending it with me. I was flattered.”

So is it real? Well, yes and no. “I would say it’s entertainment and just enjoy it; don’t question it too much. There were a lot of moments that were real and a lot of moments that were not so real.”

The Hills co-stars Audrina Patridge and Whitney Port are highly skeptical that Heidi Montag and husband Spencer Pratt have actually split up as Montag was claiming last week.

Port expressed her doubt in the split to People Magazine at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night:

“I doubt they’re really broken up,” she said. “I’m sure they’re still sticking together.”

Patridge went on to tell People:

“I think it’s a joke.  I don’t believe it. They’re inseparable and in love.”

Patridge and Port seem to agree with most of America.  At this point, everything that Montag-Pratt does is viewed as a publicity stunt.  Perhaps the couple should read ‘The Boy Who Cried Wolf.’
