Country superstar Tim McGraw was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (air date 12/16/2010) discussing his Country Strong co-star Gwyneth Paltrow’s performance and standing ovation she received at the Country Music Awards (CMA’s) earlier this month.

ELLEN: “So, you do a movie with Gwyneth Paltrow, who by the way blew everybody away at the CMA’s, getting a standing ovation. Did you know that she sang? Have you heard her sing before?”

TIM: “You know, she did that movie “Duets” with Huey Lewis so I’ve heard that song. Country music to me is a whole different deal. I’m biased because that’s what I do. You can’t get away singing country music unless there’s a lot of honesty involved. It just doesn’t work. It worked for her. I’m sort of pissed at her though. I’ve been, what, twenty years I’ve been in the music business and I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a standing ovation at the CMA’s. After all the hard work I’ve done. After all the time and effort. And then she walks out and sings one song and everybody stands up.”  LAUGHS

Tim had his sophisticated ‘I’m not a country star, I live in Berkley’ look going on for the show.  McGraw is married to Faith Hill.

The 43 year-old is allegedly in the best shape of his life at 178lbs. after losing 37lbs, feels more confident than ever and apparently likes to sleep naked. I personally do not think that is enough to be Country’s hottest guy and his wife agrees with me!

“My wife would pick George Strait,” he says. “She thinks he’s gorgeous! Or Kris Kristofferson. When we’re around him, she can barely speak.”

“I don’t feel whatever 43 is supposed to feel like – I still feel pretty young,” he says. “I’m more confident than I’ve ever been about who I am and what I do and I feel like I’ve got a lot more ahead of me than I do behind me.”

The hot list also includes names like Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and George Strait. But, who do you think should be named Country’s hottest guy? I’d say Keith Urban is hands down the hottest country boy ever! Lucky Nicole Kidman!

Country star Faith Hill graces the cover of Shape Magazine in a bikini for the first time ever. The 41-year-old mother-of-three is feeling better and more comfortable with her body and she says it’s because of regular exercise.

“I found I slept better, had more energy and was stronger,” says Hill, who then increased her regime to include Pilates classes three times a week.

“It was so hard, but ultimately so worth it. My core is much stronger, and my arms are more toned. In fact, wearing a bikini on a magazine cover is my 41st birthday present to myself.”

Thanks to Pilates, even hubby Tim McGraw is benefiting from the results of a more flexible and confident woman.

“I could bend in ways I haven’t been able to since I was a teenager,” the Nashville-based star tells Shape magazine for its December issue (on sale Nov. 10).

“My husband [Tim McGraw] loves it!”

I’m starting to think Pilates might be the answer for the unhappy middle-aged couples with marital problems… if it makes you look that good and bend! It’s a miracle! Or it could be what we call Photoshopping!!

Tim McGraw took the law into his own hands at his concert last night (see video above). A rowdy male fan was all over a female on the front row and Tim called security after pulling him off the woman. McGraw then helped pull the male on stage and shoved him in the back as security was escorting him off. The fan said something and Tim cocked his fist before security wisely escorted the fan off stage as he tipped his hat to the crowd. Not much of a fight but Tim was more than ready to protect his female fans.

A couple of days ago we posted about Faith Hill giving a fan a chewing out for grabbing husband Tim McGraw’s balls while he performed.  Now we have a clip of another fan taking a ring off of McGraw’s finger as he shook hands with fans during the song ‘Fly Away’.  He stops mid song and tells the fan to give his ring back.  When she won’t comply he calls security to assist him.
