Tilda loves being on the worst dressed list – that’s the only reason why the 51 year-old actress would ever wear the ensembles she chooses to wear at Hollywood’s most glamorous events. Right? Seriously? I cannot even begin to describe that hot mess.

On the other hand, 34 year-old “Ringer” star completely shocked us by wearing a huge white and blue ink print strapless ball gown by Monique Lhuillier. The perfect hair, makeup and gorgeous smile were simply not enough to distract us from that ridiculously hideous dress.

Who were the best dressed and worst dressed celebs on the red carpet? The 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards red carpet fashion was defined by red hot gowns, purple gowns, sparkly gowns, and real boring and ugly full-length dresses.

On the worst dressed list are actress Julianna Margulies, who was wearing the ugliest Armani Privé silky white gown ever, Katie Holmes (photos here), Glee’s Dianna Agron in a blue Roksanda Ilincic dress, Olivia Munn in emerald green gown by Carolina Herrera, and the new Charlie’s Angel Minka Kelly in a Christian Dior gown with lace sleeves.

The title of red hot and classy ladies on the red carpet goes to actresses Nina Dobrev and Kate Winslet (honorable mention: Lea Michele). Joining them on the best dressed list are Sofia Vergara (photos here), “The Good Wife”Christine Baranski in a super chic navy gown, and “How I Met Your Mother” star Cobie Smulders, who looked stunning in a bright blue gown (daring color, perfect dress!).

The 22 year-old former Hellcats star oversized long dress by Ramy Brook was absolutely unflattering and probably designed for someone who wants to hide an unwanted pregnancy or massive gain weight. While Aly looked like a grandma, Amanda looked like a cheap porn star.

OK. I’m exaggerating a bit. The 25 year-old actress basically squeezed into an Herve Ledger dress that was at least two sizes too small and too short, but totally ruined the look with aqua green sky-high heels by Christian Louboutin. It looks like Amanda did not have time and just picked the first pair of high heels she could find.

Both Amanda and Aly are extremely beautiful woman, but they seriously need to fire their stylist or hire one to stay out of the Worst Dressed list at the next public event. Who’s the worst of the worst: Amanda Bynes or Aly Michalka?

The big winner of the night Miranda Lambert failed to win on the red carpet. The white dress would have been perfect if the cleavage had been a little more discreet. As for Taylor Swift, who won Entertainer of The Year, that mellow yellow gown is the most boring thing ever. The dress is beautiful, but the color is hideous.
