Cane River by Lalita Tademy

4.50 Stars (out of 5)

Lalita Tademy had always heard facinating stories about her family, especially the women. There were gaps and mysteries that surrounded many of the stories her elders would tell her, and she began to develop an itch to fill them in.

In 1995 she quit her job as Vice President of a Fortune 500 High -Tech company in Silicone Valley, and dedicated her life to piecing together her family's history.

Through all of her research and discoveries she brings us this  amazing book spanning  over four generations of women.  Starting in 1834  Cane River , Louisiana and ending in 1936 Colfax, Louisiana.  The book is written in three parts Suzette, Philomene, and Emily.

Each part takes you through a detailed description of the happenings in each of the woman's lives.  Encompassing slavery, the Civil War, and the contradictions of emancipation. The author takes you on a journey of the women's hardships, joy, challenges, independence,  and inspiration for their future generations.

While reading I found myself going through an extensive amount of emotion for these women and what they had weathered. I cried for their tragedy and cheered at their achievement. This book was a brilliant mix of storytelling and historical reference.  I would highly recommend it for anyone.

Angels and Demons by Dan Brown

5.00 Stars (out of 5)

After reading The Da Vinci Code, I couldn't wait to get my hands on another book by Dan Brown. As I finished the first chapter I realized Angels and Demons was going to be a late night, can't put down ( Do I really need 8 hours of sleep) type of book.      The characters have very strong personalities that define them, yet leaves room for mystery that provides some eye opening realizations.  Brown's description of Rome's many cathedrals, catacombs, art, and crypts is nothing short of genius. He makes you feel like your alongside the characters for the frantic adventure that ensues. The use of fact and fiction is smartly written, and the story line was much more intricate and mind rousing then the highly recognized Da Vinci Code.  I was more and more intrigued through each chapter as I read at a lightening speed to see just what was going to happen to our clever and witty Symbologist Robert Langdon.  If you enjoyed the Da Vinci Code, you'll be blown away at Angels and Demons.

Log of the Craziness of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes
Contribute your Thoughts on the Bumpshack Message Board

Tom Cruise wants nine more kids with Katie Holmes.  Cruise was so excited about fathers day that he must have forgot her contract will run out before that would be possible.

George Clooney is stealing the action movie roles from Tom Cruise now.  Cruise has always had first dibs on scripts coming out of Hollywood, but George Clooney is being offered the role in the yet-to-be filmed action thriller.

“There isn’t a major studio that will offer Tom Cruise a $200 million movie now,” one source told me. “There’s going to be a big reconsideration now of what he should do next.”

What happened? “Obviously they [Scientology] told him it was time to pay up one way or another,” says an old Cruise associate. “They definitely forced him to go public.”

Gossip queen Joan Rivers recently slammed Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes at an Australian awards show.

Rivers said, "Did you hear Tom Cruise just had a baby? He was there when it was born... He should have been there when it was conceived!" Last October, Rivers accused Holmes of being untalented and claimed her engagement to Cruise was the best thing she had ever done.

Rivers said, "Each woman has done very well by him - Nicole Kidman and Penelope Cruz. So this one, Katie Holmes , who doesn't seem to have much talent, is probably the luckiest of all. I saw her in Batman Begins and, let's just say, she better hang on to Tom for a while!"

Tom Cruise banned Katie's parents from seeing their first grandchild until he was back from promoting MI:III overseas so he could monitor the initial visit between the new mother and her parents according to sources close to the situation.

Forget whatever it was Tom Cruise told Diane Sawyer about his relationship with Katie Holmes' parents.

The truth is, Katie's parents, Martin and Kathleen Holmes, didn’t get to see baby Suri up close and personal until the day of the "Mission: Impossible 3" premiere in Los Angeles. That would have been May 4. Suri was born in the late afternoon on April 17.

You do the math, fans. That's two and a half weeks. The Holmeses were specifically not invited until Tom was back home in Los Angeles after his worldwide promotional tours and could monitor the baby’s first visit with her maternal grandparents. Tom’s mother, Mary Jo Mapother-South was there for the delivery. So were Tom’s sisters. But, as widely reported, the Holmeses were at their vacation home in Florida when they got the news that their daughter had given birth to their first grandchild.

“They are heartbroken,” says the source who filled me in on this, and this person knows what they’re talking about. But no one who’s interviewed Cruise for "MI:3" has dared asked these questions. Instead, they’ve let Cruise refer to Katie as “Kate” and do all the talking for her. The Holmeses are scared to speak out, say friends, for fear that they will be cut off even more from Katie and Suri.   posted 1:33am by jholmes

Boycott Mission Impossible III to show your displeasure with Mr. Cruise.

Tom continues to drag a tired Katie Holmes around in a desperate attempt to drum up support for the fledging Mission Impossible III.

"Mission: Impossible 3" had a bad Tuesday, falling $300,000 more at the box office from Monday’s $3.5 million. That means it’s off 80 percent or so since Sunday.

Are people just waiting, or have they really turned on their old pal, Tom Cruise? It didn’t help that he dragged Katie Holmes up to Seattle for a promo appearance three weeks after she gave birth.

Reports were that she looked tired — and rightly so. Mothers don’t usually leave their babies after three weeks. How peculiar this whole saga continues to be.

Now, Cruise is on the cover of Good Housekeeping — an obvious bid to the female audience —and sounds quite manic in Kate Coyne’s story.

Companies find impossible mission in dealing with Cruise and movie tie-in's.

With Cruise both starring in and producing the Paramount Pictures release, he had an unusual amount of control over promotional decisions that are usually left more solidly in the hands of studios.

Tom Cruise has nixed a topless scene of Katie Holmes from the movie Thank You For Smoking.

A source said: "Tom wasn't too pleased when he found out about Katie. She flashed quite a lot of flesh and he didn't think it was appropriate because of their Scientology beliefs. Katie was happy to go along with it."

The brunette's raunchy sex scene with Aaron Eckhart was included in the first screening on the film at the Toronto Film Festival in Canada last year, however, it had been mysteriously deleted when the film was screened at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah this year.

Mission Under Perform

Impossible Opening Weekend:  Mission Impossible III will be the top movie at the box office this weekend but it is not coming close to the original estimates for the weekend.  Did Cruise kill this movie with his craziness?

Box Office Mojo's Brandon Gray says that the weekend total should now be in the $45 million range. It's not a catastrophe by any means, but it does show that star Tom Cruise's public persona and negative publicity plus a raft of mediocre reviews for the film have put a dent in his plans to rule the universe.

Grays says the new "Mission" numbers are a disappointment because both installments 1 and 2 did much better. "They each sold around 50 percent more tickets on their opening weekends (Friday-Sunday)," Gray says, "despite opening on Wednesdays."

At this rate, Cruise may want some kind of pharmacological drug to ease the pain on Sunday night. Paramount execs definitely will.

It appears that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have finally agreed on a pre-nup.

Brooke Shields and her good friend Tom Cruise had children on the same day.  Shields baby girl is named Grier and the TomKitty is Suri.  Shields and Cruise's BEEF goes back nearly a year now....so here is a look at the odds of these events happening to their newborns in their lifetimes.

Odds that Suri's mom had an epidural: 200 to 1
Odds that Grier's mom will embark on a regimen of psychotherapy and prescriptions to combat postpartum depression: 5 to 2
Odds that Suri's mom will do the same: 500,000 to 1
Odds that Grier will star in Mom's next TV movie of the week: 12 to 1
Odds that Suri will appear in Mission: Impossible IV: 10 to 1
Odds that both Grier and Suri will be teased on the playground over their names: 1 to 2
Odds that Grier will be mortified when she comes across old ads of her mom letting nothing come between herself and her Calvins: 3 to 2
Odds that Suri will be mortified when she comes across footage of her dad dancing to Bob Seger in his tighty-whities in Risky Business: 2 to 1
Odds that Grier and Suri will have a playdate or a slumber party five years from now: 2,000 to 1
Odds that Grier and Suri would be born on the same day: 1,000,000,000,000 to 1
Odds of same, adjusted for karma: Even

I knew I heard screaming this afternoon. Katie Holmes gave birth to the alien child this afternoon.  Cruise and Holmes have a baby girl and they gave it the alien name Suri.

The name Suri has its origins in Hebrew, meaning "princess," or in Persian, meaning "red rose," the statement said.

Tom Cruise set to eat placenta after Katie gives birth according to GQ magazine.

Tom Cruise says there will be no baptism for his upcoming alien child with Katie Holmes who was raised Catholic.

"No, I mean you can be Catholic and be a Scientologist. You can be Jewish and be a Scientologist. But we're just Scientologists."

The superstar dad-to-be also confirms to Sawyer that Holmes, in the final stages of her pregnancy with the couple's first child, will adhere to Scientology's practice of quiet birth. Cruise explains that "quiet birth," which aims to minimize talk and other noise inside the delivery room," is "basically just respecting the mother."

Thanks Tom! Group takes out ad in L.A. Weekly after schizophrenic Scientologist refuses, drugs, takes vitamins, hears voices and proceeds to kill his mother.

“Thanks, Tom Cruise and the Church of Scientology, for your expert advice on mental health,” blasts an ad in LA Weekly. The ad goes on to say that a woman was killed “by the schizophrenic son she was told to treat with vitamins instead of psychiatric care.”

The ad refers readers to a Web site, which provides details on the case of Jeremy Perkins, a 28-year-old schizophrenic who stabbed his mother to death. Perkins was a staunch Scientologist and his mother was a counselor in the church — which opposes psychiatry and psychiatric drugs and “believes modern psychiatric medicine derives from an ancient alien civilization’s plot to drug and enslave humanity,” notes the site.

More on Jeremey Perkins: A Scientology Tragedy

Tom Cruise is attacking psychiatric drugs once again.  The righteous actor goes on to boost of his helping others kick the drug habit in the new GQ.

He tells the magazine, "I've always found the 'if it makes me feel better, it's OK' rationale a little suspect. "I think it's appalling that people have to live a life of drug addiction when I have personally helped people get off drugs."

Tom talking about his priorities when asked if he was going to marry Katie Holmes:

“First the baby, then the film, then, in summer, we want to get married. I won’t let this woman get away.”

Tom Cruise has had poster placards delivered and posted all over his mansion to remind Katie Holmes to remain silent during  her upcoming child birth.

The couple — following the Scientology tradition of a silent birth — had the posters delivered to their Beverly Hills mansion.

One reads: “Be silent and make all physical movements slow and understandable.”

Dawson’s Creek actress Katie, 26, must “keep mum” and will not even be allowed painkillers when she has the couple’s first child due any day.

Followers believe it is traumatic for babies to hear their mother scream or groan when giving birth. They think it can cause “psychic” damage, which takes years of therapy to overcome.

The doctrine stresses newborns cannot be poked or prodded for medical tests or spoken to for seven days.

Tom Cruise is jumping up and down on furniture again......this time it's a chair.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes might already be married.  They possibly were married eight months ago on a Scientologist boat at sea.

Cruise and Holmes, who met a few months earlier, are said to have exchanged rings emblazoned with triangular Scientology symbols during a Caribbean cruise aboard the sect’s ship the Freewinds. (They supposedly wear their rings only at church functions.) Holmes, who once claimed she would remain virginal until her wedding day, wore white, says the tab. After the ceremony, the couple walked across a tiny bridge — a Scientology symbol for the journey to “total freedom,” sources claim. Scientologists John Travolta and Kirstie Alley are said to have been on the ship, where guests also celebrated Cruise’s 43rd birthday. Holmes’ Catholic family was not present, but is due to attend their “official” wedding later this year.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes showed poor funeral manners recently at a funeral in Australia.  Cruise and Holmes were groping each other during the service.

The Daily News reports that the two were engaged in yet another inappropriate display of public groping in the middle of the service, which took place at the Sydney Opera House. All of which caused Arizona Republic reporter Suzanne Condie Lambert to wonder, "Can suspiciously fake love get any creepier?"

Tom Cruise and the pregnant Katie Holmes are denying that they are breaking up.

Former fiancé Chris Klein says he will not be buying Katie Holmes a baby or wedding gift.

"Her and my relationship is a time in the past. And it's a time that I'll always look back with in fondness, but her and I have moved on, and she has a separate life and I have a separate life. And it's better that we keep it that way."

Tom Cruise has now pissed off the American College of Radiology over his purchase of a sonogram machine for his mother-to-be Katie Holmes.

The ACR issued a statement warning that Cruise and Holmes could potentially harm their unborn baby by performing ultrasounds without the benefit of a doctor's supervision

"This is a patient safety issue. Untrained people, even if they have the financial means, should not buy, or be allowed to buy and operate, ultrasound machines which are, in fact, medical devices and should not be used without a medical indication," said Dr. Carol M. Rumack, chair of the ACR Ultrasound Commission.

"I bought a sonogram machine," Cruise told Walters during the interview, which was taped Oct. 30. "I am going to donate it to a hospital when we are done."

Somewhat startled, Walters replied, "Wait, you are going to do your own sonogram?"

"Yes," Cruise replied, chuckling.

Co-Bumpshack Turkey of the Year Tom Cruise has bought  Katie Holmes, his follower/girlfriend, a sonogram machine so she can watch the baby as it grows within her.  Sonogram machines range in price from $25,000 to $200,000 dollars.  Cruise is reaching that Michael Jackson level of craziness.

Actor Chris Klein says he does not fault Tom Cruise for his breakup with Katie Holmes. Holmes and Klein dated for fiver years prior to her dating and impregnation by Cruise.

"For me, what we had was very, very special, and I hope that she's making decisions that are making her happy and that she doesn't have people in her life leading her astray from what she wants and what she believes," replied Klein when asked about Holmes becoming involved in Cruise's faith of Scientology.

Tom Cruise has fired his sister as his publicist and hired Hollywood insider Paul Bloch.

Scientologists honor Tom Cruise for donating over $2 million dollars to the cult at their annual gathering this past weekend in the United Kingdom.

Of course, Scientologists are used to shelling out, since handing over cash is a key part of the Hubbard doctrine. On Saturday, it earned Cruise the Diamond Meritorious Award, which followed the platinum equivalent awarded last year when his contribution topped $2.5m (£1.4m). He remains the biggest donor to Scientology. Other members of the cult have been less content about paying up, complaining that they have been milked of thousands of pounds.

Were Tom and Katie pregnant all the way back in June?

In an interview with Australia’s "60 Minutes" that aired on June 5, Spielberg said of Tom Cruise: “I've known him since '83 and I knew Tom when he first adopted his first two kids and so I really felt that this part suited Tom to a 't.'”

His “first two kids” is a strange way to describe someone’s only two kids, isn’t it? But when you watch Spielberg say it, he’s not making a mistake. It’s possible Cruise told him that Holmes was pregnant that long ago. If so, it means that the couple conceived a child almost immediately after they met on or around April 15.

Holmes’ recent pictures show that she’s between five and six months pregnant, in fact. This was a surprise, certainly. But it does account for Cruise’s weird behavior on Oprah, and the couple’s near silence during August when — after a barrage of press — they seemingly went underground for about four weeks.   posted 2:08am by jholmes

Is Katie Holmes in a Rosemary's Baby situation where she is being groomed to provide Tom Cruise with a child?

Some of you might ask what is Rosemary's Baby:

The story follows a young woman and her husband after moving into a New York City apartment next door to enthusiastic, over solicitous neighbors. The couple want to have a baby; one night the woman has a vision that she is being raped by some demonic presence, and later she finds out that she is pregnant. The woman begins to lose weight instead of gaining it, and comes to suspect that her neighbors are part of a Satanic cult with designs on her as-yet-unborn child, and that her husband is working with them.

Levin's novel was a best-seller, and was adapted as a 1968 feature film directed by Roman Polanski and starring Mia Farrow as the wife, John Cassavetes as the husband, and Ruth Gordon and Sidney Blackmer as the neighbors. Gordon won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her work in the film.

Katie Holmes is already becoming stay-at-home mom as she has pulled out of her next movie.  She is also facing  criticism from her family over her pre-marriage pregnancy.

In terms of just how Holmes got to be in the family way, her aunt has denied rumors that the actress conceived via in vitro fertilization.

"I can assure you they did it the old fashioned way," Carol Zydorczyk said in a recent magazine interview. (We're not even going to ask how she knows for sure.)

Meanwhile, back home in Ohio, Holmes' father, Martin, is reportedly extremely displeased that his daughter is pregnant without the benefit of first swapping vows, according to Life & Style magazine.

The magazine reports that the strict Catholic scolded the actress upon learning of her pregnancy, before telling Cruise, "You're no good!" The grandfather-to-be also reportedly demanded that the pair wed soon.

In other reports, when it comes time for the actress to give birth in several months, it has been suggested that Holmes will attempt a silent labor in keeping with Scientology tradition.

The practice encourages mothers to be to forgo painkillers and to refrain from screaming or even talking as they bring their children into the world. Scientologists believe that the silence reduces trauma during birth and prevents irrational fears later in life.

Tom Cruise's and the Church of Scientology's firm grip on Katie Holmes continues to weed out her friends and now her publicist as well. Holmes on Tuesday fired her publicist of 8 years and hired Cruise's publicist, who is his sister.

In short order, since meeting Cruise in April, Holmes has now fired her manager, changed agents and discharged her publicist. All had been her longtime allies.

Pictures of Holmes from just a few days ago with Cruise on the set of "Mission: Impossible 3" are circulating on the Internet. There's no sign of a pregnancy, but there is a woman in the background of every picture.

She's been identified as Jessica Feshbach Rodriguez, Holmes' best friend since the spring and a high-level minder from the Church of Scientology. Her family has donated millions to Scientology.

As for Holmes' friends here in New York, the word is that not one of them has heard from the actress since she flew to L.A. to meet Cruise for the first time last April.

Since Holmes first became associated with Cruise, her career has come to a standstill. Pretty much the only project she has coming up is the DVD release of "Batman Begins."

Holmes also makes an appearance in "Thank You for Smoking," currently playing the festival circuit. Otherwise, her career trajectory — which was on the upswing with "Pieces of April" — is over.  posted 12:32am by jholmes

According to People magazine Katie Holmes is pregnant with Tom Cruise's baby.  One of them must have a movie coming out and needed some good press.  Anyone want to bet on an actual baby ever appearing?

"Tom and Katie are very excited, and the entire family is very excited," says DeVette.   posted 1:34pm by jholmes

Jamie Foxx outraged at Tom Cruise for donated $5,000 to the Church of Scientology in his name.

He added that Foxx seemed angrier than ever when he found that Cruise had donated $5,000 in his name to the Church Of Scientology. Foxx wasn't aware of the donation until the church sent him a plaque as a thank-you.

"Jamie was seething when he got the plaque," the insider said. "He must have felt Tom was going to attempt to use his name to recruit other high-profile African-Americans into the church. He probably thought it was Tom's intention to tell black people that Jamie had been to a meeting and had made a donation to the Church Of Scientology.    posted 1:39pm by jholmes

Rob also made fun of Cruise's strict devotion to Scientology, the controversial L. Ron Hubbard religion and said: "I'm more offended by the rumors saying I'm a Scientologist."

The city of Paris, France pledged to never welcome Tom Cruise back again.  The city cites his Church of Scientology beliefs as the reason.  The Vatican has also denied Tom Cruise access to use the church to film scenes for the upcoming 'Mission Impossible III.'

Like many other European governments, the French authorities view Scientology - founded in the US in 1954 by science-fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard - as a dangerous cult.

Cruise does have new inductees to his cult that include ex-wife Nicole Kidman and their adopted kids:

Cruise has more converts to add to his growing list of sign-ups - his own children with Nicole Kidman.  Isabella, 12, and Connor, 10, live with the 43-year-old actor in Beverly Hills where they are being home-schooled by his Scientologist sisters, reports say.     posted 12:35am by jholmes

Another article on how Katie Holmes is turning into a zombie and under constant Scientology observation.

According to those who accompanied Holmes through her various publicity trips this spring, Feshbach has never left her side. Neither have other "monitors" who followed Holmes everywhere she went, according to sources, constantly whispering in walkie talkie-like devices (those things that are strapped to wrists, connected to ear pieces) even when she was going to the bathroom.    posted 5:03pm by jholmes

Lawmakers respond to bash Tom Cruise for his haphazard and off-the-wall remarks about mental health.

“It is unfortunate that Tom Cruise has sought to use his celebrity to once again negatively reinforce the unfortunate stigma associated with mental illness,” said Rep. Grace Napolitano (D-Calif.), co-chair of the caucus. “Mr. Cruise is correct in saying that some of the drugs used to treat psychiatric disorders can be abused, but these same drugs have been beneficial to countless numbers of people who can now focus on their work in school or on the job.”     posted 1:31pm by jholmes

The Mercury News review of 'War of the Worlds':

It turns out, it's not the end of the world. You just wish it were by the end of the movie.

"War of the Worlds" is a picture without a thought in its pretty head: the Tom Cruise movie to end all Tom Cruise movies. If we're lucky. The movie has nothing much to say about the shape the world is in, other than a few reflexive questions about whether the explosions that accompany the arrival of space invaders might actually be caused by "the terrorists."

"War of the Worlds" is supposed to be about aliens who go stomping around the countryside on long-legged fighting platforms -- known instantly to everyone in the movie as Tripods -- that almost certainly are the least practical interplanetary attack vehicles ever devised. But the invaders are only there to provide a backdrop for the movie's seemingly endless tableaux of Tom Cruise -- Tom Cruise running for his life, Tom Cruise being bathed in the blood of others, Tom Cruise yelling at his movie kids like a guy who wishes he knew where to get his hands on some Ritalin."     posted 12:11am by jholmes

Cruise's views on psychiatry are so extreme and devoid of scientific proof, "it's a little like talking to somebody who claims the world is flat," Scully said.

Kyle Smith of the 'New York Post' writes about how he is grossed out by Eyes Wide Nut Tom Cruise on 'Oprah', jumping on couches, proclaiming his love for women, etc.

If Cruise is going to remain one of the biggest movie stars in the world instead of a laughingstock - remember, even Michael Jackson was on top once - he needs a quick infusion of p.r. advice, stat.

Jumped on Oprah's couch to scream, "I'm in love! I'm in love!" while throwing his hands in the air. "I can't be cool, I can't be laid-back. It's something that has happened, and I feel I want to celebrate it. I want to celebrate her." (Page Six reported that he stammered twice when Oprah asked how he met her, a charge his team denied).

Trashed Brooke Shields, telling "Access Hollywood" she should have used vitamins instead of drugs to treat her postpartum depression.

Told Reader's Digest that women "smell good. They look pretty. I love women. I do!

"Tom Cruise kissing Katie Holmes reminds me of Michael Jackson kissing Elvis' daughter," says Ronn Torossian.

"He's become a joke," says the publicist who said the Oprah segment made him want to puke, but requested anonymity for obvious reasons.

"I hate to be cynical but, past a certain age, you don't get that in love. I mean, jumping on couches? It seems like he's off his rocker. There's something meshuga here."    posted 12:42am by jholmes

Geriatric Allergic Reaction? Katie Holmes has either an allergic reaction to Tom Cruise or a serious case of stubble rash.  posted 10:20am by jholmes

A funny look at the gay roles Tom Cruise has had in his career. I do not know how right on these are, but it is a funny read.  Post your thoughts on the Bumpshack Message Board.  posted 11:41am by jholmes

It does not seem anyone at all is buying this one.  More on Cruise-Holmes publicity stunt:

Romances between stars (and Cruise is one of the most notoriously private) always develop in secret, according to a tight script: The pair sneak around for a while dodging photographers while their publicists deny everything and insist they never comment on stars' personal lives anyway.

But Cruise and Holmes' alleged relationship began when his publicist-sister, Lee Anne DeVette, announced to the world that they were dating - the same night the two of them paraded before photographers in Rome holding hands.    posted 2:34pm by jholmes

I seem to have pegged this one concerning Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.  If it smells like fish then it must be.......

The 42-year-old movie hunk and the 26-year-old brunette happily declared this week that they were "dating," with the notoriously private Cruise eagerly posing for pictures with Holmes as they emerged from a limo in Rome.

But some folks in the know believe the sudden romance may be little more than a carefully orchestrated publicity stunt — created to drum up press for the pair, both of whom just happen to have movies coming out in June.      posted 3:36am by jholmes

Chris Klein has not had the best month.  First, his engagement to Katie Holmes comes to an end.  Then,  he finds out she is dating Tom Cruise  Finally, today his attorney placed a guilty plea in his DUI case.  Klein will have 5 years of probation.  His BAC was 0.20, over two times the legal limit of 0.08.  posted 1:27am by jholmes

Katie Holmes says she is saving herself for marriage.  Not that she had anything to worry about with Tom.  Sounds like a great pairing.  Good cover and press for Tom and it helps promote both of their summer movies.  posted 3:57pm by jholmes

Katie Holmes had this to say about her current boyfriend while she was still engaged to Chris Klein last year:

"I think every little girl dreams about her wedding. I used to think I was going to marry Tom (Cruise)."        posted 2:48am by jholmes

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are now dating according to sources and were spotted in Rome together yesterday.  This one just doesn't sit too well.  posted 12:21am by jholmes
